DESCRIPTION

The MHOT (High Operating Temperature) series cooled infrared detectors are developed on the basis of XBn technical route, its focal plane operating temperature is increased without affecting the detector performance. They are available in resolutions of 640 512, 1024 768, 1280 1024, and 2560 2048, and pixel sizes of 15 m and 10 m.u003cbru003eHOT series cooled infrared detectors have better sensitivity and offer improved performance over uncooled infrared detectors. The cooling mechanisms can be less complex and costly than those required for traditional cryogenic systems, making HOT series cooled infrared detectors more accessible for some applications. The HOT series cooled infrared detectors provide a middle ground between fully uncooled and cryogenically cooled detectors, making them useful for various applications that require enhanced performance without the complexity of extreme cooling.u003cbru003eThe HOT series cooled infrared detectors utilizes a cooling method to reduce thermal noise and can function effectively at warmer temperatures than traditional cryogenic systems, allowing for quicker startup times and reducing the need for complex cooling equipment. Although not achieving the same level of sensitivity and noise reduction as fully cryogenically cooled counterparts, but they can reach operational temperatures more quickly than traditional cryogenically cooled infrared detectors, making them more convenient for certain applications.u003cbru003eOverall, the HOT series cooled infrared detectors are versatile and efficient solutions for many infrared sensing applications, combining improved performance with lower operational costs, making them suitable for a range of applications. They are widely used in fields where moderate sensitivity is acceptable, providing a balance between performance and practicality.
