The MT230TB Tri-Axis Tri-Light Pod is an advanced electro-optical system designed for UAV-based reconnaissance and surveillance. It combines an uncooled infrared thermal imager, 30x continuously zoom visible light camera, laser rangefinder, and three-axis servo-stabilized platform with autonomous identification and tracking capabilities. Operating day and night, it delivers real-time infrared and visible light video feeds for comprehensive target detection and monitoring. The pod seamlessly integrates with mainstream Chinese flight control platforms and ViewControlStudio software, enabling rapid UAV system development. Weighing under 11kg with stable power consumption of 60W, it performs reliably across extreme temperatures from -40 to 60 degrees Celsius. Ideal for reconnaissance, border patrol, search and rescue, and forest fire prevention, the MT230TB offers precision targeting with laser ranging accuracy within 2 meters up to 6km distance, frame corner accuracy of 0.1 degrees, and advanced tracking features including automatic target acquisition, memory tracking, and natural interference resistance for mission-critical applications.
The MT230TB electro-optical pod integrates an uncooled infrared thermal imager, a 30x continuously zoomable visible light camera, a laser rangefinder, a three-axis servo-stabilized platform, and an image processing module capable of autonomous target identification and tracking. Designed with high precision and long operational range, the pod is ideal for small to medium-sized UAVs, enabling day-and-night reconnaissance and surveillance over target areas.
The optoelectronic pod leverages the uncooled infrared thermal imager and visible light camera to detect, identify, and track ground targets around the clock. It outputs real-time infrared and visible light video for mission personnel to monitor.
The MT230TB has been adapted to several mainstream flight control platforms in China, allowing seamless integration with flight control systems. It can also be connected to the ViewControlStudio display and control software platform developed by our organization, helping the overall unit rapidly complete UAV system development.
Typical applications of the optical pod include reconnaissance, border patrol, search and rescue operations, and forest fire prevention.
