The MS280TB Dual-Axis Tri-Light Pod is an advanced electro-optical system designed for medium and small-sized UAVs. It combines an uncooled infrared thermal imager, 15x zoom visible light camera, laser rangefinder, and two-axis servo-stabilized platform for comprehensive day and night reconnaissance. The pod features autonomous target identification and tracking with real-time infrared and visible light video output. It seamlessly integrates with mainstream Chinese flight control platforms and ViewControlStudio software. Key capabilities include automatic target tracking, memory tracking, multiple search modes, and precise stabilization. With 640×512 infrared resolution, 1920×1080 visible resolution, and 4km laser ranging capability, it delivers high-precision surveillance. The system weighs approximately 19kg, operates on 24VDC power, and functions reliably in temperatures from -40 to 60 degrees Celsius. Ideal for reconnaissance, border patrol, search and rescue, and forest fire prevention missions.
The MS280TB electro-optical pod integrates an uncooled infrared thermal imager, a 15× continuous zoom visible light camera, a laser rangefinder, a two-axis servo-stabilized platform, and an image processing module featuring autonomous target identification and tracking. Designed for high precision and extended operational range, the pod is well-suited for deployment on small to medium-sized UAVs to perform round-the-clock reconnaissance and surveillance missions over target areas.
The optoelectronic pod enables day-and-night detection, identification, and tracking of ground targets using its uncooled infrared thermal imager and visible light camera. It simultaneously outputs real-time infrared and visible light video streams for mission personnel to monitor.
The pod has been successfully adapted to multiple mainstream flight control platforms in China, allowing seamless integration with existing flight control systems. It can also be connected to our organization’s ViewControlStudio display and control software platform, helping the overall system integrator accelerate UAV system development.
Typical applications of this electro-optical pod include reconnaissance, border patrol, search and rescue operations, and forest fire prevention.
