MS260FA Uncooled Two-Axis Four-Light Pod
The MS260FA Uncooled Two-Axis Four-Light Pod is an advanced electro-optical system designed for small and medium-sized UAVs. It combines an uncooled infrared thermal imager, 30x continuously zoom visible light camera, laser rangefinder, and laser illuminator on a two-axis servo-stabilized platform with autonomous identification and tracking capabilities. Operating day and night, it simultaneously outputs infrared and visible light video for real-time mission monitoring. The pod features automatic target detection, tracking, and locking with memory functions, plus laser ranging up to 6km and illumination to 2km. With 30x optical zoom, 4x infrared zoom, and advanced stabilization achieving 0.05mrad accuracy, it delivers high-precision reconnaissance. Weighing under 11kg and consuming approximately 100W, it operates continuously for 8 hours. The system integrates seamlessly with mainstream Chinese flight control platforms and ViewControlStudio software. Ideal for reconnaissance, border patrol, search and rescue, and forest fire prevention missions.
The MS260FA electro-optical pod integrates an uncooled infrared thermal imager, a 30x continuous zoom visible light camera, a laser rangefinder, a laser illuminator, a two-axis servo-stabilized platform, and an image processing module featuring autonomous identification and tracking capabilities. Designed for high precision and extended operational range, it is ideally suited for small to medium-sized UAVs, enabling day-and-night reconnaissance and surveillance missions over target areas.
Equipped with both uncooled infrared and visible light cameras, the pod can detect, identify, and track ground targets around the clock, while simultaneously outputting real-time infrared and visible light video streams for mission personnel to monitor.
The pod has been successfully adapted to multiple mainstream flight control platforms in China, allowing seamless integration with existing flight control systems. It can also be connected to our organization’s ViewControlStudio display and control software platform, helping the overall system integrator rapidly complete UAV system development.
Typical applications of this electro-optical pod include reconnaissance, border patrol, search and rescue operations, and forest fire prevention.
