The MS240FA Two-Axis Four-Light Pod is an advanced electro-optical system designed for medium and small-sized UAVs. It combines an uncooled infrared thermal imager, 30x continuously zoom visible light camera, laser illuminator, and laser rangefinder on a two-axis servo-stabilized platform with autonomous recognition and tracking capabilities. Operating day and night, it delivers real-time infrared and visible light video feeds for comprehensive reconnaissance and surveillance. The pod seamlessly integrates with mainstream Chinese flight control platforms and ViewControlStudio software, enabling rapid UAV system development. Weighing under 9.5kg with compact dimensions, it features automatic target tracking, image stabilization, multiple operational modes, and H.264 video compression. Ideal for reconnaissance, border patrol, search and rescue, and forest fire prevention, the MS240FA provides high precision long-range detection with robust environmental adaptability for challenging operational conditions.
The MS240FA is a compact, high-performance electro-optical pod featuring an uncooled infrared thermal imager, a 30× continuously zoomable visible light camera, a laser illuminator, a laser rangefinder, a two-axis servo-stabilized platform, and an image processing component capable of autonomous recognition and tracking. Designed with high precision and long operational range, the pod is well-suited for medium and small-sized UAVs, enabling day-and-night reconnaissance and surveillance missions over target areas.
Equipped with both an uncooled infrared thermal imager and a visible light camera, the pod can detect, identify, and track ground targets around the clock, while simultaneously outputting real-time infrared and visible light video streams for mission personnel.
The MS240FA has been adapted to several mainstream flight control platforms in China, ensuring seamless integration with UAV flight control systems. It can also be connected to our organization’s ViewControlStudio display and control software platform, helping system integrators rapidly complete UAV system development.
Typical applications of this electro-optical pod include reconnaissance, border patrol, personnel search and rescue, and forest fire prevention.
