MS230TC Two-Axis Tri-Light Pod

The MS230TC Two-Axis Tri-Light Pod is an advanced electro-optical system designed for UAV reconnaissance and surveillance. It combines a cooled infrared thermal imager, 30x zoom visible light camera, laser rangefinder, and two-axis servo-stabilized platform with autonomous target identification and tracking. Operating day and night, it simultaneously outputs infrared and visible light video for real-time mission monitoring. The pod seamlessly integrates with mainstream Chinese flight control platforms and ViewControlStudio software. Ideal for reconnaissance, border patrol, search and rescue, and forest fire prevention, it delivers high precision long-range performance. Key features include 4x infrared zoom, 30x optical zoom for visible light, laser ranging up to 6km, automatic target tracking with memory function, and stabilization accuracy of 0.05mrad. Weighing under 8.5kg with low power consumption around 60W, it operates reliably in temperatures from -40 to 60 degrees Celsius and withstands light to moderate rain conditions.

The MS230TC electro-optical pod integrates a cooled infrared thermal imager, a 30x continuous zoom visible light camera, a laser rangefinder, a two-axis servo-stabilized platform, and an image processing module capable of autonomous identification and tracking. Designed with high precision and long operational range, the pod is suitable for deployment on small to medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to perform round-the-clock reconnaissance and surveillance missions over target areas.

Equipped with a cooled infrared thermal imager and a visible light camera, the optoelectronic pod can detect, identify, and track ground targets day and night. It simultaneously outputs real-time infrared and visible light video feeds for mission operators.

The pod has been adapted to several mainstream flight control platforms in China, ensuring seamless integration with existing flight control systems. It can also be connected to our organization’s ViewControlStudio display and control software platform, helping the overall unit to rapidly complete UAV system development.

Key applications of this optoelectronic pod include reconnaissance, border patrol, personnel search and rescue, and forest fire prevention.
