MS220TA Two-Axis Tri-Light Pod

The MS220TA Two-Axis Tri-Light Pod is an advanced electro-optical system designed for medium and small-sized UAVs performing day and night reconnaissance and surveillance missions. This integrated platform combines an uncooled dual-field-of-view infrared thermal imager, a 30x continuously zoom visible light camera, a laser rangefinder, and a two-axis servo-stabilized platform with autonomous identification and tracking capabilities. The pod delivers real-time infrared and visible light video feeds simultaneously, enabling around-the-clock target detection, identification, and tracking. Featuring high precision and extended operating range, it seamlessly integrates with mainstream Chinese flight control systems and ViewControlStudio software. Weighing only 6.7kg with compact dimensions, the MS220TA operates on 24VDC power and offers multiple working modes including automatic search, manual control, and autonomous tracking. Its applications span reconnaissance, border patrol, personnel search and rescue, and forest fire prevention operations.

The MS220TA electro-optical pod integrates an uncooled dual-field-of-view infrared thermal imager, a 30x continuous zoom visible light camera, a laser rangefinder, a two-axis servo-stabilized platform, and an image processing component featuring autonomous identification and tracking capabilities. Designed with high precision and a long operational range, the pod is well-suited for deployment on medium and small-sized UAVs to conduct round-the-clock reconnaissance and surveillance missions over target areas.

Equipped with an uncooled infrared thermal imager and a visible light camera, the pod enables day-and-night detection, identification, and tracking of ground targets. It simultaneously outputs real-time infrared and visible light video streams for mission personnel to monitor.

The pod has been adapted to several mainstream flight control platforms in China, allowing for seamless integration with flight control systems. It can also be connected to our organization’s ViewControlStudio display and control software platform, helping the overall system integrator accelerate the development of the UAV system.

This electro-optical pod is primarily used in scenarios such as reconnaissance, border patrol, search and rescue operations, and forest fire prevention.
