The MS185DA-Q Two-Axis Four-Frame Dual-Light Pod is an advanced electro-optical system designed for medium and small-sized UAVs. It integrates a visible light camera with 20x optical zoom, laser rangefinder, inertial navigation system, and servo-stabilized platform with autonomous target recognition and tracking capabilities. The pod delivers ultra-high stability accuracy and high-precision target positioning for reconnaissance, surveillance, and positioning missions. It features automatic target detection and identification, real-time video output, memory tracking, and multi-target detection. The system seamlessly integrates with mainstream Chinese flight control platforms and ViewControlStudio software. Weighing just 2.5kg with compact dimensions of 185×170.5×273.5mm, it operates on 24VDC with minimal power consumption. Ideal for border patrol, search and rescue, forest fire prevention, and tactical operations, the MS185DA-Q combines cutting-edge imaging technology with robust stabilization for superior mission performance.
The MS185DA-Q is a two-axis, four-frame, dual-light electro-optical pod consisting of a visible light camera, a laser rangefinder, an internal inertial navigation system, a two-axis four-frame servo-stabilized platform, and an image processing module that supports autonomous target recognition and tracking. It features automatic target recognition, ultra-high stabilization accuracy, and high-precision target positioning. The pod is suitable for deployment on small to medium-sized UAVs as well as high-speed UAVs for reconnaissance, positioning, and surveillance missions over target areas.
Using its visible light camera, the electro-optical pod detects, identifies, and tracks ground targets, delivering real-time visible light video for mission personnel to view.
The pod has been adapted to several mainstream flight control platforms in China, enabling seamless integration with flight control systems. It can also interface with our organization’s ViewControlStudio display and control software platform, assisting system integrators in rapidly completing UAV system development.
This electro-optical pod is primarily applied in reconnaissance, border patrol, personnel search and rescue, forest fire prevention, and target positioning missions.
